Parents of tweens and teens sometimes need help supporting their kids. Adolescence is a huge period of social, emotional, neurological, and physical growth. And growth means change! During these years, kids form and evolve their own opinions, values, and sense of self; when those are different from their parents’ expectations or from peers, there may be conflict, confusion, or isolation.
Parents and guardians want to stay close to their kids, but they don’t always know how, as they change into middle and high schoolers. We practice skills for parents to communicate better and rebuild connection.
